Eric loved going everyday and playing all types of sports; basketball, dodgeball, swimming, rock climbing etc. One day they had to walk to the YMCA from the school that they were at and it started hailing. When David picked him up that day he said it wasn't very fun walking because icicles kept hitting him on the head. He also made his first basket ever and was so proud. I just happened to be there when he did and was probably just as proud.
The girls were taught some choreography and sang the songs from the musical. Meagan tried out for a part and got the part of Taylor Mckessie. She loved being in the foreground for most of the production. We got a little glimpse of what it might be like if she ever gets a boyfriend. Her stage boyfriend "Chad" liked to act and was quite convincing that they were boyfriend and girlfriend in the musical. Heidi loved learning the dance moves and being a part of it but Emma was a little disappointed that she wasn't one of the main characters. Remember she doesn't think she is only 9 and couldn't understand why she couldn't play a teenager!!!! She still had a blast and they all want to do it again next year. I told them to save their money to help pay for it and they can. They are already on their way to saving!!!
Here are a few pictures of the entire cast. Can you find all my girls? Emma and Heidi are in the front and Meagan is to the right towards the back.
Here they are together.
Here is Meagan and her boyfriend "Chad" whose real name is Woody Minshew.
Here they are with "Troy".
Here is Emma with "Sharpay".
Here is Emma with "Gabriella".
These are just some of the other cast members that they became friends with.
This was just a blast for them to perform and for us to watch!!!!!

Meagan looks like she is enjoying her 'boyfriend'....do I need to have a talk with her??? Just kidding! it looks like lots of fun!
What a great spring break tradition you just started--wish my boys had this music talent like your kids do!!
Love all the cute new posts. I cannot even believe how grown up Heidi is!! Seriously! And meagan looks so much like YOU!
Hope all is well. Miss you.
Meagan's 'boyfriend' is really cute! That had to have been fun for her. Pretending in a play is safe...now that's out of her system she won't ever have to have one in real life, right?! You are such a good mom, Tracey, to be willing to run kids around from dawn until dusk!! Looks like they had a great time. What a great experience for them. Can't wait to see where they go from here!
