Gingerbread Houses and more!!!!!

When we were in China some of our friends invited us to their yearly gingerbread house party and we had a blast!!! We decided we would copy their great idea and have our own party. We invited 10 families really not thinking they would all be able to come but were pleasantly surprised when 8 of them showed up. To start off, the guests were asked to guess how many pieces nof candy were in several containers and the bonus question was to count how many snowman I have collected throughout the last few years. There were 74 just to let you know. Then all the kids were given a plate, a package of graham crackers, a bag of icing and tons of candy to create their masterpieces. There was lots of candy eating, frosting snitching and lots of laughs. You can tell that this was serious business for some and just plain fun for others. After we were all done creating our houses then we sang a few Christmas carols and handed out the jars of candy to the winners!!! The house was crazy, loud and crowded but we had a BLAST!!!!!

That is some SERIOUS gingerbread house making there! Reminded me of the fun with the Embleys. Aren't you just so thankful to have had those experiences?!!
