We decided it would be fun to take the children to see some of our National Parks in Utah and Colorado. We started out going to Moab, Utah to Arches National Park. We thought we should take the hardest hike first. It was to Delicate Arch.
It was 3 miles round trip going up a mountain. It was hard but we all made it and it was definitely worth it.
It was breathtaking!!!! Here we all are under the arch. This was a fun spot the kids loved because they could climb up on the arch.
The next day we took the hike to Landscape Arch.
This picture was so cute as we were hiking to the arch.
A few years ago a big chunk of rock fell from this arch and the smallest part of the arch is only 6 feet deep.
The park rangers all say to see this arch when you are visiting because they don't know how much longer it will be there. There were also lots of breathtaking views
and we had a blast looking at all the different arches.
We also started our quest to find all 50 States of license plates on our trip. The kids also got their junior ranger badges here.

I love this part of Utah. My cousins live in Monticello and you probably drove right through there. If you blinked you might have missed it! It was in Monticello that I got interested in the church when I was a teenager so that whole area holds a special place in my heart. Glad you had such a wonderful trip!
